Ms. Brock's third grade class & Mrs. Dow's third grade class

Melanie Dow and I created a Winn Dixie Wiki last fall.  We used it as a tool to have the students write a final reflection for the novel Because of Winn Dixie.  The kids learned quickly how to use the wiki and even figured out how to insert their own dog photos.  The only downfall was the fact that the students could not get on the winndixiewiki at the same time and write.  I like the idea of having a page for each student, but I know that the kids really enjoyed reading each others comments all on the same page.  I would like to expand on this project by using the wiki as a comment and reflection site as we are reading the entire novel.  I would also like to use the wiki as a place to display student work related to this novel.
